Skill-In Painting Inc. is a residential painting contractor based in Brunswick, Maine, dedicated to delivering high-quality interior and exterior painting as well as wood finishing services.

 

Debra Skillin started Skill-In Painting in 1997 in Brunswick, Maine. Soon after, she partnered with prominent regional contractor Peter Haughton to establish Custom Craftsmen, a company specializing in high-end residential painting.

In 2001 after graduating high school, Debra’s son Brandon and his friend Richard Michaud began working for Skill-In Painting Inc. The two friends we were interested in pursuing trades out of school and naturally moved into Brandon’s family business. Brandon took over ownership and reestablished the original business name in 2007. Combined, Brandon and Richard have over 40 years of experience.

Working with local general contractors like Kennebec Builders, and Mid-Coast Wood Workers has helped Brandon establish himself as a tradesman with top-quality skills and a determined worked ethic.

Over the decades Skill-In Painting Inc. has established a clientele in high-end exterior and interior residential and commercial work along the mid-coast region of Maine from Cumberland Foreside to Boothbay.

Skill-in Painting Inc. specializes in coastal homes which require highly durable finishes. Their work also includes inland homes, commercial properties, custom wood finishes, and much more.
